Development Centres that received this rating from PADI.
We already met the standards required before this highest rating was
created.
This course takes a minimum of 6 weeks to complete and gives you a
real head start in becoming a valuable dive centre employee.

| To help the candidates
prepare themselves for the IDC. |

Value
| The course allows
a candidate to practice in an informal relaxed environment
the theory and practical skills required for the
IDC. It gives each student the chance to improve
their water skills to the demonstration quality
required (even full time Divemasters need to ensure
they are performing the skills to PADI Standards).
It also covers the theory, which is required for
the 5 exams, and an introduction to teaching in
the classroom. |

will teach you how to teach the full range of PADI
Courses. |

Compressor Maintenance
And Retail Skills

| During this phase
of your training you will learn basic servicing
and maintenance procedures for running a compressor
and filling tanks. You will also spend some time
dealing with guests learning the basics of customer
relations and retail skills. |

Enriched Air Instructor
And Gas Blender / Technician

| With the expanding
interest in Enriched Air, these courses will allow
you both to teach Enriched Air Courses and will
also qualify you to mix and fill Enriched Air tanks. |

5 Specialty Instructor
Ratings

The College offers
a full range of PADI Specialty Instructor Ratings
with the exception of those that are not physically
possible in this area (e.g. Altitude or Ice Diver).
You will be able to choose any five specialties
from the range offered by PADI. |

Emergency First Response
Instructor

| During the day we
will cover the procedures and give advice on how
to run the PADI Emergency First Response Course.
Upon successful completion of this course (at any
time after the Assistant Instructor Course) candidates
will be able to independently run the EFR programme. |

Instructing Open Water
and Advanced Courses
| Objective |
| Upon completion
of the IDC/IE program you will run an Open Water
and Advanced Course at the College using one of
our instructors as an assistant. This will give
you the invaluable experience of organizing and
teaching your own courses, and will enable you
to issue your first certifications, as long as
PADI has cleared the paperwork. |
