And what a summer itâ€™s turning out to be with more whale shark and manta ray sightings in May, June and July than in any previous year. Always at the cutting edge of environmental campaigns, Red Sea Diving College – based in the Scuba diving resort of Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt – have been at it again with an all-Russian underwater clean-up of Naama Bay jetty involving 30 divers from both Moscow and Siberia.

A real buzz is starting to develop about the operation with new Tek divers swapping stories every day.Tek, Trimix and Rebreather courses and Try Dives have been running non stop as has the IANTD Tek Lite program. This has allowed many divers to discover the taste of Trimix and to experience the thrill of new depths during an accessible two day course. Congratulations to all our new Tekkie divers!

|Off to a running start Federico and instructor Chris Armstrong organised the building of a new and ultra-safe Confined Water area in front of the College HQ in Naama Bay. It is now probably the safest learn-to-dive area in the Red Sea with fantastic training aids too.
