Daily Diving Requirements:

- 1 days diving consists of 2 dives a day, 3rd dives are optional.
A buffet style lunch including unlimited tea,coffee,water and soft drinks is available on board for 50Le per day
- Our boats depart the jetty between 08.30-09.30 and will return after a full day between 16.30-17.00, these times may change depending on the time of year. For half day trips the boat will return to the jetty at 13.30-14.00. For special trips departure times will be arranged in resort.
- Maxim depths are based on certification level.
- Our dive packages do not have to be made on consequtive days.
- On any guided daily boat and house reef diving package the first day of diving will be to local mainland dive sites (NOT Ras Mohamed or the Straits of Tiran).
- Snorkelling / passengers on boats are subject to space. Snorkelling only permitted when a guide on the boat is there to supervise. You may only snorkel on dive sites with a mooring. Snorkellers must wear a snorkel vest at all times.

You may be required to complete a check dive and/or a scuba review depending on your level and experience.These are guidelines and will depend on the individual diver.

Scuba Review

We ask all guests that haven’t dived for a year to complete a Scuba Review on their first day. This is a 3 part program, first is a full review of diving theory with Instructor elaboration. This is followed by a run through of the skills in the shallows of the bay, and then you have a supervised open water dive on the house reef. The cost is 95 Euro and includes full diving equipment.

Check Dive
We ask all guests that have never dived in the Red Sea before or that have not dived within the last 6 months to complete a Check Dive. The Check Dive will consist of 4 or 5 skills before continuing on with a standard dive. The cost for a Check Dive is 35 Euro including equipment.

All divers must present a valid certification card and logbook. Any one not in possesion of a log book will need to make a minimum of a check dive.

Visas

For trips to Dunraven or Thistlegorm a full Visa is required. Please note on arrival an Egyptian Visa can be obtained at the airport (cost £12 or $15) by holders of most European and American passports. On arrival your passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity. Holders of some passports may be required to obtain a Visa before travelling – please check with the Egyptian Consulate for more information.

Unguided House Reef diving:

- Non-guided house reef diving is avaiable from the shore. The first dive needs to be guided as an orientation dive.
- For unguided House Reef dives a dive buddy needs to be arranged. Solo diving is strictly prohibited.

No flying 24 hours after diving

Course Requirements

- A PADI Certification Fee of 35 Euro must be paid for all courses. This fee is not subject to discount.
- PADI materials are a requirement and a PADI standard for all courses and are subject to an extra charge.
- Discounts do not apply

Transfers :

- A free shuttle bus service is available from all hotels to the Red Sea Diving College and back.
- Please make sure that you have all necessary paper work including passports and vouchers, so that you will not miss the shuttle bus transfer. Thank you for understanding that the bus cannot wait for individual guests.

Discounts:

- At least a deposit must be paid in advance to qualify for pre booking discounts – otherwise standard resort rates apply.
- Discounts do not apply to certification fees or manuals.
- Discounts do not apply to technical diving and courses or Professional (DM and above) courses.

Insurance:

Guests are responsible to ensure that they have the adequate insurance cover for their diving activities.

Force Majeure:

Actions of independent contractors such as Airlines, Tour Operators are not the responsibility of Sinai Services. We reserve the right to shorten a trip, change itineraries or substitute a vessel for weather or mechanical reasons.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of cancellation a written letter, fax or email is required. Any cancellations made more than 14 days before booked services will incur an administration charge of 10 Euro per person booked. Any cancellation less than 14 days before booked service will incur a cancellation charge of 10% of the total booked services.

Requirements:

For Thistlegorm trips you must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver/above or equivalent

PADI Scuba Diver:

Dive packages for certified PADI Scuba Divers will incur a surcharge.

Refund:

Refund would be based on number of days cancelled, not quality/quantity.
